On December 11, 2014, White Hawk Engineering & Design, LLC (White Hawk) was recognized at the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA) Awards Gala as the Overall Disadvantaged, Minority and Women Business Enterprise (D/M/WBE) throughout the North Texas Region.

This award recognizes the ingenuity, creativity, tenacity, and hard work of a local company that is successfully competing and succeeding in the marketplace.

"The White Hawk team was able to overcome major obstacles as a small business in 2013 2014," states Kimberly Brooks, P.E., President. "We encountered typical challenges such as time management and availability of capital like every small business but the true test was overcoming tragedy."

"The ability to overcome tragedy is a true testament to the character of a business and the individuals that comprise it. After the sudden death of our Oklahoma Survey Manager and the destruction of our office in Moore, Oklahoma to tornadoes, our perseverance was tested but not destroyed. Thanks to a supportive community of clients and friends coupled with diligent record keeping and the smart use of technology, White Hawk never missed a beat."
